Course Description: As many companies are forced into transitioning into a completely remote workforce, there have been significant rises in anxiety and social isolation. The workshop will focus on how companies are now tackling novel ways of mitigating burnout and building team rapport while addressing best practices on helping remote professionals. Workshop will include an interactive breakout discussion, case study with leading employer, as well as a guided mindfulness session.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, the participant will:

• Identify leading technology platforms that are being used to transition teams to remote environments as it pertains to their mental health.

• Explain key stressors for modern professionals coping with the pandemic while working remotely.

• Explore concepts of purpose, ego and motivation in the millennial workforce.

• Assess the links between diversity and inclusion, mental wellness, and workplace engagement.

Presenter Bio: Rahul Kulkarni, MPH / MBA is the CEO of Sukhi, a corporate wellness venture dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care, reducing burnout, and building team rapport in the modern workplace. He has a background in employee wellness, mindfulness, and mental health. He’s also a former McKinsey consultant, worked in global health around the world, and spent 6 months conducting group therapy sessions in Boston.

He studied clinical psychology at Tufts Medical, abnormal psychology at Cornell, and received an MBA from MIT. He also completed 10 days of silence and meditation training in India, and recently led corporate wellness workshops for teams at The World Bank, Bain, and Amazon.

Workshop registrants will receive a code prior to the webinar to log on to Zoom and participate in the online session.

IMPORTANT: Attendance will be monitored. Participants must be logged on to the meeting by the workshop start time and participate in the entire event in order to earn CE credit.

The Pro Bono Counseling Project is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Pro Bono Counseling Project maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The Maryland Boards of Social Work Examiners and Professional Counselors and Therapists (pending) certify that this program meets the criteria for one credit hour of continuing education for social workers, professional counselors, and therapists licensed in Maryland.

CE credit is granted to participants with documented attendance at individual workshops and completed evaluation forms for those sessions. Attendance is monitored. Credit will not be granted to registrants who log on late or depart early from a session. It is the responsibility of registrants to comply with these requirements.
