PBCP Volunteers Provide Essential Services and Fulfill Code of Ethics

A recent article in “Counseling Today,” a publication of the American Counseling Association, highlights how volunteers with the Pro Bono Counseling Project (PBCP) are able to maintain their oath to the ACA Code of Ethics that encourages counselors to “contribute to society by devoting a portion of their professional activity to services for which there is little or no financial return,” through service to the organization.

Remembering Long-time PBCP Board Member Camille Wheeler

Pro Bono Counseling is sad to announce that Camille Wheeler, a PBCP board member of over 20 years, has passed away after a short battle with cancer.  Board President-elect Gil Bliss shared, “Camille was an intellectual force unto herself and she used that to good effect for Pro Bono Counseling.”

PBCP Volunteer Bharati Devkota Receives MCA Diversity Achievement Award
